Sanxiantai Coastal Area is situated along Taiwan’s eastern Pacific coastline in Taitung County. Renowned for its rugged shoreline, it features volcanic rock platforms, tide pools, and diverse marine ecosystems. The name 'Sanxiantai' translates to 'Platform of the Three Immortals,' referencing three huge rock formations said to have been climbed by Taoist immortals. The area is famous for its emblematic red eight-arched pedestrian bridge spanning 300 meters, which connects the mainland to Sanxiantai Island. This bridge is not only an architectural marvel but also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding ocean and cliffs.
